Content adaptation for child protection

  • CC/PP shows how to describe a UAProfile
  • Easy to add filtering preferences
  • Who wants to know?
    • Large publisher?
    • Paedophile?

Problem is who wants to know. In most cases, you’d want the content provider to know your profile. The potential for content providers is to be able to supply “some content” rather than being blocked.

But disclosing information about your filtering profile – even that you have a filtering profile – might make you a target for unwanted attention.
Logging requests for the profile or only making the data available to those with an approved digital signature might provide an answer.
