Mirko Bibic

Mirko Bibic is Chief, Regulatory Affairs at Bell Canada. He is responsible for overseeing all activities involving the CRTC, the Copyright Board and the Competition Bureau on behalf of Bell Canada, Bell Mobility and Bell ExpressVu.

Prior to joining Bell in January 2004, Mirko was the managing partner of the Ottawa office of Stikeman Elliott LLP and a member of the firm’s Competition Law and Intellectual Property Law Practice Groups. In his practice, Mr. Bibic regularly counselled clients on competition law matters; trademark, copyright, and patent matters; intellectual property and technology transfers; high technology and e-commerce matters; the preparation of licence agreements, software agreements, distribution agreements, sales agreements, etc.; and comparative advertising and misleading advertising issues. Mr. Bibic has been recognized by LEXPERT, the Canadian legal directory, as an “up and coming” lawyer in the Technology Law sector. He has also been included in Euromoney’s Expert Guide as a leader in Canadian aviation law. Mr. Bibic obtained a law degree from the University of Toronto in 1992 and was called to the Ontario bar in 1994.

Mr. Bibic is the author of several articles. He is also a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and has recently become a board member of the Internet Content Rating Association (ICRA).

Mr. Bibic lives in Ottawa with his wife Jackie and their three boys.
