We are exploring different ways in which the ICRAchecked data can be used to annotate search results. One route is through the LADI search interface, developed under the Quatro project. Another is through Google’s new Customized Search Engine system.
The search box above offers a full Google search but gives preference to sites in the ICRAchecked database. Furthermore, each ICRA label is converted into an age-based rating. FOSI cannot and will not make judgements about the age-appropriateness of content. However, third parties, such as our ICRAchecked partner, Surf on the NetTM, can. It is there that organization’s interpretation of the ICRA label that is displayed as an age rating. Other age-ratings may be derived from the same ICRA label.
