Solarsoft becomes first ICRA member to implement the new labelling system
Since the launch of its Labelling Working Group in June 2004 and the Quatro project in November, ICRA has been working with a variety of partners on a new labelling system. The specification is now in its final draft stages and ICRA members have been among the first to try it out.

Solarsoft , the company behind MadeSafe Child and a variety of leading-edge anti-virus, privacy and security software, has been the first to label its site fully. It’s MadeSafe branded web site is a well-established feature of the consumer marketplace in Europe and North America.

Solarsoft’s VP and ICRA board member, Dave Miles, said “Naturally we’re excited about the new vocabulary and labelling system and were keen to try it out. It was quick, it was easy and it works. Solarsoft remains committed to ICRA’s self-regulatory approach and we look forward to offering our customers the benefits of the new labelling system in our future products.”
