This page allows you to control how each filter’s recommendation is combined with the others to produce the “global response” – that is, the overall decision about whether a particular page should be blocked or allowed. You can do this in one of two ways: by using one of the preset options, or by configuring the system yourself.
Preset options
The preset options treat all filters equally. Whether a page is blocked or allowed is determined by how many filters say block and how many say allow. If you chose the “Very high” option, the page will be blocked if a single filter says it should be or if none of the filters is able to give any definite result. At the other end of the scale, if you chose “Very low”, the page will be allowed unless all the filters agree it should be blocked.
These preset options are likely to offer sufficient control for most users. However, it is possible to make fine adjustments using the advanced configuration options.
