In order to facilitate filtering for parents using PICS filters (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer’s Content Advisor), since January 2006 ICRA has provided a simplified PICS interpretation of the current vocabulary alongside the RDF labels. This section is provided for those wishing to understand more about the legacy PICS system of labelling and filtering.
