If you have tried adjusting the various preset filter combination options and find that it seems that no matter what you do, ICRAplus either blocks just about everything or allows just about everything, then there are two things you can try:
First of all, you can use the advanced filter combination options. In particular, at the bottom of the advanced filter combination page you’ll see a pair of buttons that decides what the filter should do if none of the filters you have installed can make a definite decision about whether a page should be blocked or allowed. If ICRAplus is being too restrictive and this option is on “block” – change it and see if that gives a more satisfactory performance. If you then find that everything’s allowed, you’ll need to install one or more additional filters.
If that doesn’t give a satisfactory result, then the problem is likely to be that the system is not getting enough information about whether each page should be blocked or allowed. In other words, you need to install additional filters that will feed information through to the central unit. In general, the more filters you install, and the greater their quality, the better performance ICRAplus can give.
