ICRAplus can be run on all versions of Windows from Windows 98 onwards (i.e. Win 98, ME, 2000, NT 4+ and XP). It can be run on Windows 95 if Winsock 2 is also installed. The ICRA website includes details of this procedure.
NB. ICRAplus is a Windows application in its own right and not a plug in for any particular browser. Whatever browser you use, ICRAplus can filter your internet access.
JavaScript (‘Active scripting’)
The user interface for ICRAplus relies on JavaScript, also known as Active Scripting. Few browsers in use today do not support this, but they do all offer you the opportunity to disable it. JavaScript/Active scripting must be enabled when using ICRAplus.
